Following the receipt of your results, several services are available if you are not happy with your grade.

Requests and payment for any of the services can be made using the different options below, please make sure you select the right option for your qualification. Remember when requested one of the below services your grade can go up or down.

Clerical Check: Checks that all of the script has been marked and the marks totaled correctly.

Review of Marking: Ensures that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly. This is not a re-marking of your script, but a review to make sure marking is accurate and consistent.

Access to Scripts: Can be requested for as part of a clerical check or review, and will be received once the reviews have taken place.

The charges shown are per individual exam paper sat, if you wish to request a service for multiple exam papers you must add the charge the requisite number of times.

Description

Following the receipt of your On-Demand BTEC results, several services are available to you if you are not happy with your grade.

The Awarding Body request that all review requests are made with 14 days of receipt, so all service request must be received no longer than 7 days after they were emailed to you. 

Please be advised that when requested one of the below services your grade can go up or down. If you wish to discuss any of the options before purchasing them please contact your course tutor or email exams@howcollege.ac.uk

GCSE Enquiries About Results

Description

Following the receipt of your GCSE results, several services are available if you are not happy with your grade.

Payment for any of the services below must be made by noon on the 17th February 2022.

Remember when requested one of the below services your grade can go up or down.

Clerical Check: Checks that all of the script has been marked and the marks totalled correctly.

Review of Marking: Ensures that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly. This is not a re-marking of your script, but a review to make sure marking is accurate and consistent.

Priority Access to Scripts: Can be requested prior to a review of marking request. These requests must be submitted by the 26th January.

Access to Scripts: Can be requested for as part of a clerical check or review, and will be received once the reviews have taken place.

Access to Original Marked Scripts: This is without a review or clerical check, once requested a subsequent Clerical Check or Review of Marking cannot be submitted.

PLEASE NOTE:

The charges shown are per individual exam paper sat, if you wish to request a service for multiple exam papers you must add the charge the requisite number of times. For example GCSE maths had three exam papers, if you wish all three to be clerical checked you need to add the charge three times.
