The first instalment of £15 is to be paid by 21st September and the second instalment is to be paid by 3rd October in order to secure a place.
An exciting opportunity to discover how the Alton Towers Resort operates a large and diverse marketing strategy over many different communication channels and to different demographics. On this trip students will discuss campaign marketing, how Alton Towers conduct market research, develop and launch new products, develops brands, appeals to different market segments and works with different channels including digital, print, TV, CRM and direct. Students will also get the opportunity to learn more about human resources at Alton Towers: With over 800 permanent business roles within Alton Towers Resort, students will look at the different options for employment within a modern international PLC. They will learn how they recruit and select employees, what their employee development opportunities are, and the type of work that their employees do on any given day.
Both of these talks link to units that they are studying in HR and Marketing.
After lunch students will then have the opportunity to experience the park from a customer’s perspective.
